人類歷史上一次次跨越式地擁有改造世界的手段和能力，該如何和自然，和歷史，和存在或者傳續了億萬年的其他生命體進行對話？這是又一個存在于每個時代，直至今天也在面對的主題。自然的力量是浩瀚的，人類在宇宙自然面前取得的一切成就，畢竟仍太過渺小，總像是孩子們在蹣跚學步。在這里，我們通過世界樹的主題設定，探討著一種理想化的方式：世界樹幫助人類凈化一方土地，而人類擁有技術且正義的一方，賦予世界樹機械動力化的改造，讓其可以拔地而起，行走于地球表面，為不同的地域帶來凈化的力量。人類文明與世間萬物，是否可以成為一種可持續的，共生依存的模式呢？
In the commercial atrium of THE RING · GARDEN CITY in Yubei, Chongqing, XISUI Design has created a massive 20-meter-high installation, the "Wonder Tree," which spans four floors. The design merges steam-powered machinery with a natural botanical garden, allowing visitors to traverse its heights and experience the awe-inspiring vitality born from the symbiotic coexistence of human technology and nature.
As humanity has recurrently acquired transformative power throughout history, how should it dialogue with nature, with history, and with other lifeforms that have existed for millennia? This timeless question remains relevant today. Nature's power is vast; all human achievements pale in comparison to the cosmos, often resembling a child's first steps. Through the Wonder Tree, we explore an idealized vision: the Tree helps purify the land, while humanity, wielding technology for good, bestows upon it mechanical enhancements, enabling it to rise and traverse the earth, bringing renewal to different regions. Can human civilization and the natural world achieve a sustainable, symbiotic coexistence? ?
